LATER HE DEVELOPED HIS SKILLS AS A FORECLOSURE AND AUCTION CONSULTANT, COURT CERTIFIED EXPERT WITNESS, AND REAL ESTATE REGULATOR, EDUCATOR AND WRITER.
•1965-1967 entered the real estate market as a speculator buying and flipping house contracts. •1967 received D.C. real estate broker’s license. •1972 opened Anthony Mizzer Realty Inc. (AMR) an all purpose real estate firm that assisted clients in buying, selling, leasing, appraising •1978 added an investment division that specialized in distressed •1979 appointed to the District of Columbia Real Estate Commission. •1980 appointed vice-chair of the Washington Metropolitan Region’s first Real Estate Educator’s Association approved by the National Association of Real Estate Legislative Officials/acted as association outreach to American University, Howard University and the University of the District of Columbia. •1981 created and marketed the first District of Columbia Government Surplus Property Auctions. •1982 added a market auction division to AMR. •1982 Co-chair of the committee to write the 1982 D.C. Real Estate License Law -- developed legislative update seminars for District of Columbia real estate licensees. •1985 Created Distressed Property Team to buy and rehab short sales and •1990 Transformed AMR into Mizzer Associates: Developed sales program for RTCNet a distressed property computer network/Assessed Real Estate Licensing Test Questions/Advised Clients.
